Not knowing when the dawn will come, I open every door.

Hello and welcome to the world of Authentic Lives

image

These are very interesting and challenging times.  They also provide an excellent opportunity for growth and learning; for more awareness and consciousness in the world.  More and more people of all ages are seeking answers to some very fundamental questions.  Some are beginning to wake up and others are well on their way to a conscious life.  There is much change (and much fear) in the world.  There is a real desire to make sense of what is going on and how to take charge of one’s own experience.

image There is no accident you are here and I am pleased you have arrived.  Make yourself at home and stop by for a visit anytime.  Be open and allow your intuition to guide you during your visit and may something you find here be the spark you have been looking for.

I look forward to building a relationship with you and I wish you well as you continue your walk in this life.

imageRemember, you are loved without condition, without judgement and without exception.

Blessings,
Barbara

Why Kokopelli?

I first came across the ancient Hopi character, Kokopelli, while on a trip to New Mexico in 1997.  I was instantly drawn to him and through my research discovered he is a figure commonly found in petroglyphs and pottery throughout southwest US.  He is regarded as the universal symbol of fertility for all life, be it crops, hopes, dreams or love.

Some legends suggest Kokopelli was an ancient Toltec trader who travelled routes between Mexico, the west coast, the southwest and possibliy even as far as the eastern areas of the US. image

I chose him as the logo for Authentic Lives because he represents the planting, nurturing and encouragement of seeds to grow and ripen to their full potential.  He embodies the work of Authentic Lives in the world.
